Dear brothers and sisters,
As Ramadan and Lent begin, we are blessed with a powerful and beautiful moment of spiritual alignment. For Muslims and Christians alike, this sacred season invites us into prayer, fasting, reflection, repentance, and renewal.
Though our traditions are distinct, the values we embrace during this time are deeply shared—self-discipline, compassion for the poor, generosity, forgiveness, and a sincere turning of the heart toward God. Both seasons call us to quiet the noise of the world, purify our intentions, and recommit ourselves to justice, mercy, and love.
During this holy season, we also remember our Palestinian sisters and brothers who are observing these sacred days amid profound suffering. We hold especially in our prayers the families in Gaza who begin their fasting without their loved ones. May our prayers rise for their strength and comfort. May our hearts remain attentive to their pain.
May this sacred time deepen our faith, strengthen our solidarity, and move us beyond words into meaningful action. May we pray not only for patience and endurance, but for justice, for peace, and for a free Palestine.
Wishing you and your families a blessed Ramadan and a meaningful Lenten journey.
With respect and warm regards,
